An Old Man's Tale

It was a dark and stormy night as I went out onto the sea.
The waves rocked the boat back and forth like a baby in a cradle.
The violent wind was like a drunken man's cry that pierced through the night air.
A great many men would have turned back but I pressed on.
A blinding rain began to fall and soon my boat became flooded with water.
As I began to sink I could only think of one thing: my love for the sea.

I awoke the next morning on land.
My ship was destroyed and pieces were scattered across the sandy beach.
I looked out into the horizon and saw the sun rise.
I was overtaken by it's beauty.
In a way sun rises are a lot like music.
We all have different interpretations of how it's sound effects us.
Yet we all can agree upon it's beauty.
A few days later I went back out to sea.
Call me crazy, call me brave, call me what will but never forget my tale.
