Running On Thin Air ( Remastered)

As I was running I could hear the whispers of the wind.
I could feel the air that surrounded me push up against my skin.
I could hear the constant beat of my own footsteps.
I could hear the heavy breathing of which was mine.
Everything became blurry as I focused for the finish line.
Behind each turn as I run, the air goes in and out of my lungs.
But it is the need for additional thin air that drives me to the finish line.
Running with the thin air is like running with no air at all.
Your body feels light as you take each step fast, and at a consistent rate.
The world around you seems vague.
Your mind is set on one goal, to win.
If I don’t win, I will run faster next time.
 Winning isn’t essential to running.
I believe just to improve over a period of time is an achievement in itself.
As you take that next breath remember you are running to get that feeling of Running On Thin Air.

I often ponder upon my past wondering if I could of done things differently, how it would've effected my future.
In the past I often said to myself that regardless of my mistakes I wouldn't have to live up to the consequences, but I was wrong.
I've learned that life is like a book it has a beginning, a middle and an end.
If you don't grasp the beginning of your life and understand what's going on the rest of your life won't make sense.
Ultimately you need to be able to define your roots at a young age because everything in your past will effect were you'll end up in the future.

Named Brands Vs. Generic Brands

I believe that you shouldn't always have to pay more for named brands over generic brands. When you compare shoe styles such as Air Jordan's vs. Starter a lot of similarities can be seen in these two shoe brands. Air Jordan might be the more stylish shoe but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's the better buy.  As for example the other day I went to the shoe store to get a new pair of shoes, I spotted two shoes that interested me one that was an Air Jordan the other was of the Starter brand. Both shoes had similar styles, both were black and red the only real major difference was the brand name. I then thought which was the better buy? The Air Jordan's were two times the price of that of the Starters and I thought to myself is it really worth it to spend more money on something that could or couldn't last for a long period of time? So maybe I do go with the Air Jordan's, I wear them one day when it rains and the shoe gets destroyed and  all that money that I spent was wasted ; and perhaps I get the Starter brand and the material in which the shoe was  made out of was better for wet weather and could take a beating and still look nice. I get a similar looking shoe that's also stylish but for half the price. In conclusion these factors can apply to anything that you buy, whether it be cars or even as simple as paper towels, just know that it may look appealing on the outside but it's what's in the inside that really counts.

One Life To Live

Now is the time to discover who your true friends are, and start looking towards the future ahead.
In many ways your friends can be a reflection of your future, however that's not always the case.
Any person at any given time can make the right decision and end up changing their life forever.
Where you'll end up will really all depend on how you react to life's events.
If you take into account the responsibility needed in your life, and allow yourself to accept the outcomes from your actions then  you're heading towards the right direction.
But if you neglect to take responsibility of your life, and start to blame others for your mistakes it wont be to long until you realize that you wish you had lived your life differently.
You only have one life to live make ever moment count because before you know it precious time will start ticking away.
